20 districts of the Saratov region started harvesting winter wheat

According to the operational data of the regional Ministry of Agriculture, as of July 18, farms in 20 municipal districts have started harvesting winter wheat. Threshed 38.38 thousand hectares. Gross harvest with a yield of 29.7 c/ha amounted to 113.91 thousand tons. The highest yield was recorded in Pugachev (54.1 centner/ha), Novoburassky (40.1 centner/ha), Sovetsky (39.9 centner/ha), Kalininsky (38 centner/ha) municipal districts.
Recall that at the July 15 meeting of the Regional Government chaired by Acting Governor Roman Busargin, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Government - Minister of Agriculture Roman Kovalsky emphasized that in the history of the Saratov region for the first time begins harvesting with such a high yield, which has developed for winter crops this year.
Early vegetable crops are harvested in 11 districts of the region. Engelssky, Turkovsky, Sovetsky, Balashovsky, Rivne municipal districts are in the lead.
“The structure of the sown areas corresponds to the plan and allows us to fulfill the task of producing the main types of agricultural products,” says Roman Kovalsky, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Government, Minister of Agriculture of the Region.
