Increase in state support for livestock farming in the Rostov region in 2025

The main funds will be used to purchase feed and maintain livestock. In May of this year, agricultural producers received 600 million rubles in subsidies for the purchase of feed. In August, subsidies are planned to reimburse part of the costs of supporting dairy farming, for which 127 million rubles have been allocated. In September, the Ministry of Agriculture will begin accepting applications for funding the maintenance of beef cattle and breeding ewes, the amount of support under this program will be 169 million rubles.

Rostov Region deputies have approached federal authorities with a proposal to introduce additional support measures for farmers who find themselves in a difficult situation due to unfavorable weather conditions in 2025. Among the proposals are a moratorium on farm bankruptcy until the end of 2026 and the provision of "credit holidays."
