According to the Ministry of Agriculture, from January to July 2025, agricultural organizations produced 3.96 million tons of live weight poultry meat—3.3% more than in the same period in 2024. This increase in production was made possible not only by the absence of diseases but also by the implementation of effective support measures for poultry farmers, such as preferential loans and compensation for the construction of reproduction facilities.

To ensure the sustainability of poultry farms, the Ministry of Agriculture is implementing a range of measures, including short-term and investment loans for equipment modernization, which facilitates the growth of production capacity.

An algorithm for responding to bird disease cases has also been developed, ensuring veterinary well-being and prompt action by veterinary services.

Despite increased production, poultry prices remain moderate. As of mid-September 2025, the average wholesale price of a broiler carcass was 190 rubles per kilogram, 34% higher than the same period last year. However, over the past month, prices forChicken meat prices among producers decreased by 1.4%.

Thus, 2025 has become a year of stability and growth for the Russian poultry industry, largely due to the absence of diseases and the optimization of government support.
