By the end of the week, the number of beds for patients with CORONAVIRUS infection will be increased to more than 14 thousand, Deputy Mayor of Moscow Anastasia Rakova told reporters.
“In order to provide every Muscovite with the necessary medical care, we are expanding the final capacity of our medical institutions working with coronavirus infection,” Rakova said.
According to Rakova, now 12.5 thousand beds are used for patients with coronavirus. She also added that about 460 beds will be deployed in working temporary hospitals and reder rooms, and another 800 beds in the buildings of hospitals named after E.O. Mukhin and named after S.I. Spasokukotsky. One of the Russian Railways hospitals will also begin to receive patients with coronavirus.
