UN urges China to cooperate with WHO to find out the emergence of COVID-19

The United Nations (UN) has called on the international community, in particular CHINA , to cooperate with the World HEALTH Organization (WHO) in investigating the emergence of the CORONAVIRUS infection. it is reported by REUTERS.

“We call on all UN member countries, including China, to cooperate with the WHO in the investigation,” Deputy Representative of the UN Secretary General Farhan Haq said at a briefing.

Earlier, China refused to cooperate with WHO on the second stage of the investigation into the origin of the coronavirus, which considered the version of the coronavirus leak from a Chinese laboratory in Wuhan.

Deputy HEAD of the National Health Committee (NHC) Zeng Yixin, commenting on the WHO's plans for an investigation, accused the organization of "political posturing." A group of representatives of the Chinese scientific insisted that the virus was most likely transmitted to humans by some animal through an intermediate carrier.
