Hare: Belarus has no problems selling food products abroad

February 24, MINSK. Belarus has no problems with the sale of food products abroad. Deputy Prime Minister Leonid Zayats told journalists during the final collegium of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, BelTA has learned.

"Despite some temporary difficulties, I see no problems with the sale of our food products abroad. They are still in great demand because of their quality characteristics. As an example: the Prodexpo exhibition was recently held in Moscow, and our processing enterprises brought there are more than 30 gold medals from there. I think that this is a worthy confirmation of the high quality of our goods. Therefore, we plan to further develop, increase foreign exchange earnings in Belarus and strengthen the economy of our country," said Leonid Zayats.

According to him, each region of Belarus has reserves for increasing agricultural production. "For example, a new pig-breeding complex has recently been opened in the Brest region, which will increase the volume of MEAT production. There are also a lot of reserves in the Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno, Minsk and Mogilev regions. Thus, we plan to increase the production of MILK, poultry products and crop production in 2023" - said the Deputy Prime Minister.
