The largest number of vaccines, 25 in total, are intended to prevent diseases in birds. Of these, 19 were developed by Russian and 6 by foreign companies. Russian vaccines protect against a variety of diseases, such as Newcastle disease and bird flu , while foreign ones target infectious bronchitis and Marek's disease.
Six vaccines for domestic animals are also being studied — three for dogs and three for cats. Vaccines for dogs will help prevent plague and parvovirus, and for cats — panleukopenia and rabies. In the pig breeding segment, 10 drugs are being studied, eight of which are produced in RUSSIA and are intended to prevent classical swine fever and other infections. Four vaccines are being studied for cattle , three of which are imported.
The work of the Vaccine Research Centre ensures veterinary control over drugs and contributes to the strengthening of epizootic welfare and the development of the livestock industry.
