5 farmers will receive grants for the development of family farms. The amount of awarded grants varies from 10 to 20 million rubles. The total amount of funds will amount to 89.1 million rubles.
A grant to agricultural consumer cooperatives for the development of the material and technical base was received by one SEC in the amount of 20 million rubles.
The geography of the competition winners includes 15 districts of the region: Muromtsevsky, Kalachinsky, Znamensky, Sargatsky, Poltava, Gorky, Tavrichesky, Sedelnikovsky, Tarsky, Nazyvaevsky, Okoneshnikovsky, Tyukalinsky, Novovarshavsky, Kolosovsky and Isilkulsky.
The main activities of farmers who have successfully passed the competitive selection are dairy and beef cattle breeding. Also this year, the contestants applied for the development of vegetable growing, beekeeping, and poultry farming.
“We see that interest in farming is growing and this support is a good help for the economy at any stage of its development,” said Nikolai Filonov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Omsk Region.
