16 representatives of agricultural cooperatives from Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug were trained at USAU

On November 18, they received certificates of advanced training on the topic "Fundamentals of agricultural consumer cooperation."

The training took place within the framework of a cooperation agreement between the Ural State Agrarian University and the Development Fund of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Yugra.

Among the listeners were 16 current and beginning managers and representatives of agricultural cooperatives from Surgut, Khanty-Mansiysk, Nizhnevartovsk, Megion and other settlements of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra. Their occupation is related to reindeer herding, fish farming, city farming, processing, wild plants, teas, and the production of confectionery products from wild plants.

During 20 academic hours, leading scientists of the university gave lectures on legal and financial issues of creating and operating an agricultural consumer cooperative. In addition, the trainees, as part of an on-site practical lesson, visited the Spas agricultural consumer supply and marketing cooperative in Sukhoi Log (Sverdlovsk Region), where they got acquainted with possible types of activities and features of work. At the moment, the main activities of the Spas cooperative are animal husbandry and vegetable growing, as well as processing and storage of agricultural products.

“The issue of creating and competently managing an agricultural consumer cooperative will always be relevant, especially in modern times of active development of the agro-industrial complex. However, in practice, cooperatives face serious problems due to financial and legal illiteracy. In the program of our course, we have provided not only theoretical classes, but also a practical field lesson, which involves getting acquainted with the positive experience of conducting an SOC and live communication with its members. I would like to note that the system of additional education at USAU involves training (including short-term) on a wide range of topics and has a flexible system - we are ready to develop a program on a specific request, since improving the literacy of farmers and the efficiency of agricultural production is one of the main tasks of our FVE structure " ,
