Alexander Khristoforov, chairman of the Committee on Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee, said this at a seminar on explaining the norms of the decree, BelTA has learned.
Strict observance of labor discipline in the field is the key to the safety of life and HEALTH of each employee. "In connection with the entry into force of the new Decree No. 6, the labor, employment and social protection authorities will begin monitoring on the ground from October 28, during which they will check compliance with the standards for any employer and employee. In the first half of the year, the number of injuries in the Vitebsk region decreased production compared to the same period last year - 437 against 448. This is due to increased work with the subjects of prevention.However, for 9 months in the region for being in the workplace in a state ofcontracts with 940 employees were terminated, and for causing harm and damage - from 45. Almost 9.5 thousand employees were brought to disciplinary responsibility, including more than 7 thousand for absenteeism," Alexander Khristoforov noted.
He added that 740 officials and almost 3,000 employees were brought to disciplinary responsibility for violating production and technological discipline as part of the implementation of Decree No. 5 of December 15, 2014, which provides for increased requirements for the management and employees of organizations. who were completely or partially deprived of additional incentive payments for up to 1 year. Increasing the responsibility of both the management of enterprises and each employee, strengthening the personnel potential of organizations is provided for by Decree No. 6, which entered into force on October 24.Specialists of the Committee on Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Regional Executive Committee explained online at the seminar what additional requirements appeared for employers. The HEAD of the department of social and labor relations of wages and labor protection of the regional committee, Svetlana Zinovieva, emphasized that now, before employment in a state organization of a candidate, the employer is obliged to request a reference from his previous place of work. it is also necessary to make a request to the internal affairs bodies when a new person comes to a leadership position. "This will prevent random people and unscrupulous workers from coming to leadership positions, as well as eradicate mismanagement in the field, strengthen production, technological, labor and performance discipline," Alexander Khristoforov added.
