MINSK . The regional State Traffic Inspectorate will work on the P22 and M8 highways in the Vitebsk and Orsha regions, BelTA learned from the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.
On February 2, traffic police units will patrol sections of roads characterized by the highest probability of accidents, including using mixed control. Traffic police units will carry out preventive drills to stop violations of traffic rules by both drivers and vulnerable road users.
Traffic police inspectors will also pay increased attention to the timely suppression of gross traffic violations such as: driving a vehicle while
ALCOHOL intoxication , without the right to drive, as well as in violation of speed limits.
The traffic police of the Vitebsk region strongly recommends that road users strictly comply with
the requirements of traffic rules, and pedestrians at night mark themselves with reflective elements.
