PIONERPRODUKT .by continues to publish videos from the AgroExpedition "Agriculture of Kazakhstan". This is the final series about the modern VIAMIN feed mill in the north of Kazakhstan in Kokshetau. We will look at the processes of granulation and extrusion of feed, and also touch upon the issues of marketing finished products.
A distinctive feature of the granulator used in production is that the moving part is the matrix itself, and the rollers remain stationary. Due to the fact that the matrix is stationary and the quality of its metal is higher than that of the pressure rollers, the wear of the matrix is minimal. The range of matrices is quite large, it is on them that the size of the granules depends: from 2.2 to 16 mm.
The VIAMIN plant also has a production line for extruded feed. This line allows you to get high-quality extruded soybeans for use in feed. Extruded wheat is also widely used. It was experimentally established that when adding extruded feed to the animals' diet, the digestibility of the feed increases to 87%.
At the plant, we met a quail farmer who came for feed. He noted that the feed is made quickly upon request - within a couple of days. This is due to the fact that the plant always has a supply of raw materials. It is important to note that the feed is packed in 25 kg bags, not 40, which significantly simplifies the feeding process and the movement of feed to the animals.
The VIAMIN feed range includes different lines of feed: for cattle , horses, sheep, goats, pigs, birds, rabbits and others.
