The Ministry of Finance decided to limit the distribution of budget reporting due to Western sanctions, the ministry's press service told RBC.

“In connection with the pressure exerted by the United States , the EU, Great Britain and other unfriendly states on the Russian Federation and individuals, it became necessary to partially restrict the dissemination of information, including on the formation of budget reporting,” the press service said.

The Ministry of Finance indicated that this will help minimize the risk of additional sanctions.

In the report submitted by the department on the execution of the federal budget for January-May, revenues and expenses in general, as well as a surplus (deficit) are indicated.
