Employers in Moscow were reminded that if they do not transfer the necessary proportion of employees to remote work, they face fines.
“Employers operating on the territory of Moscow are subject to liability under the legislation on administrative offenses for violation of the requirements provided for in paragraph 38.1 of this decree,” the decree of the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, says.
Earlier, the Moscow authorities announced new measures in connection with the worsening situation with covid-19 . In particular, paragraph 38.1 of the decree, for non-fulfillment of which administrative liability is provided, obliges companies to transfer to remote work from October 25 this year to February 25, 2022 at least 30% of the total number of employees and all employees over 60 years of age and suffering from chronic diseases.
The requirement to remove does not apply to those who have been ill or vaccinated, as well as to employees of medical institutions, defense industry enterprises, Roskosmos, Rosatom and a number of other strategic industries.
