Two doctors detained in Bashkiria for falsifying vaccination certificates

In Sibay , two employees of the Central City Hospital were detained on suspicion of taking bribes for fake covid-19 vaccination certificates. A criminal case has been initiated against a biologist of the clinical diagnostic laboratory and a nurse in the department for the adult population, the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RUSSIA reports.

According to the police, the suspects issued certificates of vaccination against CORONAVIRUS to residents and entered information into the Unified State HEALTH Information System. One vaccination certificate cost 5,000 rubles. The Interior Ministry has data on nine episodes. Thus, doctors were able to receive bribes in the amount of 45 thousand rubles.

“Currently, investigative actions are being carried out with the suspects, the issue of choosing a measure of restraint for them is being decided. Investigators continue to establish all the circumstances of the crimes committed, as well as the involvement of suspects in similar criminal facts, ”the Investigative Department of the ICR for the Republic of Belarus said.

The crimes were solved jointly by employees of the Investigative Committee, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the FSB. Under the article on official forgery, the suspects face up to two years in prison, under the article on taking a BRIBE - from three to eight years.

Earlier, the Investigation Department reported on the detention in Neftekamsk of a 39-year-old district physician of the city hospital. According to investigators, in the period from June to July 2021, the suspect received 33,000 rubles through an intermediary from the DIRECTOR of the beauty salon for making deliberately false medical documentation about the examinations of employees of the beauty salon before vaccination and entering false information about their vaccination into the unified information system.
