More than a billion rubles will be additionally allocated to the Nizhny Novgorod region for the provision of medical care. This was announced by the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Gleb Nikitin.
The order on the allocation of additional funding was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The funds will be used, among other things, to provide medical care to patients with CORONAVIRUS who are insured under compulsory HEALTH insurance.
To date, about 9.5 thousand beds have been deployed in the Nizhny Novgorod region for the treatment of patients with covid-19 , more than 40% of the beds are provided with oxygen. More than 2.5 thousand doctors, 5.5 thousand mid-level medical workers and more than 1.2 thousand junior medical workers are involved in the fight against coronavirus.
In total, 56 billion rubles will be allocated from the federal budget to help the regions in the fight against coronavirus, the press service of the Russian government reports.
