Gorbachev was quarantined

Ex-USSR President Mikhail Gorbachev has been in quarantine because of the CORONAVIRUS for more than a month on the recommendation of doctors, he is not sick. This was reported to RBC in the press service of the Gorbachev Foundation.

The press service of the Life Foundation reported that he is in one of the Russian hospitals in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus, which can be complicated by age. Gorbachev is 90 years old.

On October 7, Mikhail Gorbachev congratulated Russian President Vladimir Putin on his 69th birthday, according to the foundation's website. He wished Putin good HEALTH, as well as strength and energy in serving RUSSIA, strengthening statehood, developing the economy and active foreign policy.
