A poultry farm in Krasnoyarsk Krai received 15,500 imported day-old chicks under the supervision of Rosselkhoznadzor.

During a clinical examination, the chicks were found to be healthy. The sellers tested the parent flocks for avian influenza. These chicks were vaccinated against Marek's disease, Gumboro disease, and infectious bronchitis. No violations of Russian Federation and Eurasian Economic Union legislation were found. The imported chicks were quarantined under the supervision of the Krasnoyarsk Krai veterinary service. Since the beginning of 2025, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (ROSSELKHOZNADZOR) has inspected two batches of imported chicks, totaling 31,000 birds.
