Disney will suspend the work of all divisions in Russia

The decision concerns, among other things, the publication of the National Geographic magazine, the broadcasting of a television channel owned by the company, the release of content and the licensing of products. According to Disney, the Russian and Ukrainian markets account for 2% of the company's business.

The Walt Disney Company has announced that it is suspending all business in RUSSIA.

Last week, the company suspended the distribution of its films in the country due to the situation in Ukraine. However, given the escalation, Disney said the decision applies to all other activities. This includes content and product licensing, Disney Cruise Line operations, National Geographic magazine, and the operation of the TV channel.

“Some of these activities will be suspended immediately,” the statement said. The suspension of the TV channel and other projects will take time due to the peculiarities of the agreements concluded.
