The EpiVacCorona CORONAVIRUS vaccine is supplied to all Russian regions, a new contact was made on July 16, starting from that time the vaccine was shipped without delay, said Rinat Maksyutov, DIRECTOR general of the Vector center (vaccine manufacturer), RBC correspondent reports. On July 30, RBC reported that more than 50 Russian regions had not received the EpiVacCoron vaccine in July for several weeks. Some subjects, for example, the Smolensk region, received a batch of the drug at the end of May. In Moscow, it ended on July 1, and since then they have not been vaccinated in the capital.

EpiVacCoron was not shipped in order to update the relevant state contract, the Vector center said, commenting on RBC data.

“For a short time, shipments were not made due to the need to update the state contract for the supply of the vaccine. In July, a new state contract was signed for the supply of the drug, the vaccine is shipped to the Nacimbio logistician without delay," Vector said.

The interruption in the supply of "EpiVacKorona" affected more than 50 regions Society

Answering the question of whether the low number of post-vaccination reactions from EpiVacCorona is due to the fact that it contributes to immunity strengthening worse, the center said that there is no such connection. They cited statistics according to which out of 1 million vaccinated, no more than 0.7-0.8% fall ill again. This indicator, they say in Vector, is the same as in cases with other vaccines.
