More than 230 tons of meat are produced daily in the Irkutsk region.

According to Irkutskstat, 50 tons of pork, 115 tons of poultry, and approximately 70 tons of sausages reach the market daily. Additionally, 222 tons of MILK and 37 tons of confectionery are produced daily. However, a significant portion of food products is imported into the region from other regions. Last year, nearly 40% of the region's residents' income was spent on food, with MEAT being the most expensive category, followed by dairy products, and bread and cereals rounding out the top three.
