So, if in September 2022, 49.7 thousand animals were registered in the Horriot system in the individual recording mode, then in November 2022, information about 312.1 thousand animals was entered.
An active growth in the registration of farm animals in the Horriot system has been recorded since the fall of 2022. “Since October, we have been registering an exponential growth in the number of registered animals in the system, in fact, information on more than 400 thousand heads is entered per month,” said Alexander Osminin, Deputy DIRECTOR for Informatization of the FGBI ARRIAH.
So, in December, 458.4 thousand farm animals were registered in the individual accounting regime.
In total, according to the agency, from October 2021 to the present, 2,084,563 animal heads have been registered in the group identification mode. In the group accounting mode, 30,890 cards for 902,572,095 animals were issued in the system.
“We expect that in the near future the intensity of entering information will increase. Now the data is entered through the web interface of the system. An integration gateway is under development that will automate the transfer of information from the accounting systems of livestock farms,” said Alexander Osminin. “This dynamic inspires cautious optimism that by September most farms will be prepared for the mandatory labeling of farm animals and their registration in the federal system.”
Recall that from September 1, 2023, the law of June 28, 2022 No. 221-FZ will come into force. The document amends the law “On Veterinary Medicine” and introduces mandatory labeling of farm animals, as well as their registration. At the same time, according to the law, the marking of livestock will become mandatory no earlier than March 1, 2024.
To account for animals, the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR developed and put into commercial operation the Horriot system.
