The Dutch supplier of technological solutions for poultry processing intends to stop the supply of machinery, spare parts and equipment service installed at Russian enterprises. The decision was quite expected: supply disruptions began shortly after the aggravation of the international situation in February last year. In addition, when concluding contracts, Meyn management began to request information from counterparties about the beneficiaries of companies and data on financial statements, but even if these conditions were met, they often refused to cooperate.
A Vedomosti source in the industry noted that 75% of Russian poultry farms, which produce 90% of products, are equipped with Meyn equipment, and it will be difficult to find an alternative to it. Some of his colleagues believe that part of the supply can be replaced by technological lines from CHINA and Saudi Arabia. It is believed that some components can be replaced with replicas made in RUSSIA.
