Farmers of the Pskov region will receive grant support in the amount of 40 million rubles

"In the Pskov region, the winners of the competitive selection for the provision of the Agrostartup grant have been determined. With the help of state support, eight projects will be implemented to create and develop a peasant (farm) economy. This year, about 40 million rubles are provided for grant support for winning projects in the region," - noted in the message.

The amount of payments for projects for breeding cattle for MEAT or dairy purposes has been increased to 7 million rubles and up to 8 million rubles in the event that part of the funds is contributed to the indivisible fund of an agricultural consumer cooperative. Up to 5 and 6 million rubles are earmarked for projects on other types of agricultural activities.

Since 2019, 25 start-up farmers have already taken advantage of this measure of state support, in total using more than 80 million rubles, the government of the Pskov region said in a statement.
