Finger (pipettor) for pipettes

Mechanical piston analog of the laboratory pearl for working with glass and plastic pipettes up to 10 ml.

 

Allows safe and accurate intake, discharge, pipetting, transfer of liquids.

 

Piston position lock - toothed wheel;

Tight hermetic connection of the pipette due to the conic hole with a silicone sleeve;

demountable, autoclavable;

resistant to acids and alkalis.

Drainage of liquid from the pipette can be carried out in the following ways:

 

- At discrete draining (i.e. pouring of liquid from one pipette in portions on different capacities) it is carried out at the expense of rotation of a toothed wheel;

- At full draining the way depends on what pipette is used: graduated "on pouring" or "on blowing out"; when using the pipette "on pouring out" by light pressing the valve located on the side of a pipette, vacuum in the working cylinder is released, and the liquid freely flows out of a pipette; if the pipette "on blowing out" is used, at first, using the valve, liquid is allowed to drain, and then the piston HEAD located on the top end of a pipette is sharply lowered.

 

Piston pipettors can be used with serological or Pasteur pipettes of any type, as pipette connection is carried out due to the silicone sleeve having a conical tapering hole, which allows tight and hermetic connection of a pipette of any diameter.
