Last year, Kuzbass received more than 9 million rubles in federal subsidies for targeted training of 114 specialists for the agricultural industry and industrial practice for 136 students. The funds were allocated under the state program “Integrated Development of Rural Territories” and made it possible to compensate for most of the costs of training young specialists at enterprises in the region.
“We continue to develop agriculture as a strategic direction for the economy of Kuzbass, and one of the main tasks is to provide the industry with qualified personnel. Last year, there were seven times more people wishing to get an education than we planned: instead of 16 people, 114 completed training. I am glad that young people are more actively going to work in this industry,” Governor Sergei Tsivilev emphasized.
Five agricultural enterprises in the region received reimbursement of costs under apprenticeship agreements concluded with employees for a total amount of 2.2 million rubles. Six enterprises received a subsidy of more than 6.8 million rubles to reimburse costs associated with wages and accommodation for students recruited for practical training.
Among such specialists in 2023 was Ekaterina Perepechina, a second-year student at Kuzbass Agrarian University. She completed an internship at the Mikhailovskoye agricultural enterprise, which received a subsidy under the state program “Integrated development of rural areas of Kuzbass.”
“During the internship, they taught me how to operate an automatic sour cream machine and showed me how to prepare dairy products. I’m especially pleased that I’ve already been offered a job,” shared student intern Ekaterina Perepechina.
We would like to remind you that within the framework of the state program “Comprehensive Development of Rural Territories”, which is being implemented on the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin, enterprises are given a federal subsidy in two areas: reimbursement of up to 90% of costs associated with wages and accommodation for students involved in practical training, as well as reimbursement of 90% of the costs of student agreements concluded with employees. This allows you to attract qualified personnel on the most favorable terms for the employer.
