A large Chinese trading company headquartered in Chongqing, specializing in the supply of cattle meat, chicken and seafood to the southern provinces of CHINA , has expressed interest in accreditation at BUCE to participate in the auction of agricultural products. Negotiations on cooperation with BUCE took place during a video conference organized by the Chinese branch of the BRICS Institute for the Study of Future Networks.According to representatives of the Chinese company, it has an extensive network of suppliers around the world, including in Belarus, but during the pandemic, all relationships were put on hold. “In recent years, Belarusian-made products have gained popularity in the Chinese market and are in high demand among Chinese consumers. Therefore, we definitely do not expect any problems with sales. At the same time, in addition to the office and wholesale points of sale in Chongqing, we have representative offices in other provinces of China, which will allow us to ensure the widest possible geography of the sale of meat purchased on the exchange,” said representatives of the Chinese importing company.
BUCE Deputy Chairman of the Board Aleksey Matsevilo assured that the exchange is ready to assist the Chinese side in entering the Belarusian market, stressing that this year the exchange floor has become especially in demand among Belarusian agricultural producers who want to diversify their EXPORT supplies.
“Currently, we are seeing a noticeable increase in the supply of Belarusian agricultural products to China using the exchange trading mechanism. First of all, this concerns such popular items as rapeseed oil, MILK powder and semi-finished leather products. Unfortunately, Chinese companies did not buy meat on the exchange this year. , it was mainly sold to the Russian Federation. The amount of transactions for 10 months amounted to $ 5.6 million. Nevertheless, I am sure that farms and SECs accredited on our site will also be interested in exporting their products to China. All you need to do is become a client of the exchange and place a purchase order," said Alexei Matsevilo.
