Branding agency Ohmybrand has developed a line of semi-finished products "Boar Vegan", defiantly playing with the theme of vegetarianism.

As part of the project, it was necessary to prepare a line of vegetarian dishes "Boar Vegan" for entry into retail, develop its logo and packaging design, rebuilding a new brand from competitors.

“In tackling this challenge, the Ohmybrand team took into account the current wary attitude towards vegetarian cuisine in our society. By default, it is perceived as special, not suitable for everyone. For example, if a vegetarian man is going to watch football with non-vegetarian friends, it is difficult for him to find something suitable from food. We tried to change this perception, to show that vegetarian dishes are understandable, fun, cool, simple and healthy, and most importantly, delicious,” says Ohmybrand creative DIRECTOR Nadezhda Parshina.

The concept proposed by our agency plays on the topic of vegetarianism in a fun and playful way. The title character, an “enlightened” boar, hovers above the ground and glows with happiness because it doesn’t eat anything harmful.

The texts on the packaging support the playful tone of the communication. Consumers are informed that Boar Vegan dishes have passed the Karma Police check because “no animals were harmed in the process of creating the dish”, and they are offered to enjoy them under their favorite series.

Kaban Vegan products — fish-flavoured sea sticks, meat-flavoured green dumplings, and chicken-flavoured schnitzels — are about to appear on store shelves.
