January 1,
MINSK . In Minsk, servicemen of the 1st patrol battalion of military unit 5448 detained a drunk driver. This was reported by BELTA with reference to the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus.
On the way home after duty, Major Artur Grigoryan, Senior Lieutenants Pavel Bespaly and Vitaly Frankovsky saw a car hit a curb and, after driving along
it for a while, stopped. The officers decided to check the driver's condition. Presumably, the man felt ill or was drunk. Approaching the car, they assessed the citizen's behavior. The reason for his actions immediately became clear. The man was asked to get out of the vehicle and the traffic police were called.
As reported on the official channel of the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a medical examination showed 1.26 ppm in the offender's blood.
