Minsk traffic police detained several drunk drivers on January 1

January 1, MINSK. Employees of the GAI of the Soviet District Department of Internal Affairs of Minsk on the morning of January 1 stopped a Mitsubishi car driven by a motorist with signs of intoxication. This was reported by the TELEGRAM channel of the UGAI GUVD of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

Also this morning, employees of the special unit for ensuring road safety of the GAI of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk City Executive Committee stopped the car on Skripnikova Street, because the physical condition of the driver aroused suspicion among the inspectors. The motorist was taken for a medical examination. The driver was found to have been driving a Geely Atlas with 2.54 ppm of alcohol in his body.

Later, another driver "under a degree" was stopped by employees when he was driving a Hyundai car. The examination showed 2.21 ppm of alcohol in the body of the offender.

Administrative materials have been drawn up for motorists.
