The principle of work is team, responsibility is individual. The secret of success of OJSC "Nestanovichi-Agro"

Topic news

The main course of the strategy of OJSC "Nestanovichi-Agro" of the Logoisk region is to increase milk production. By the way, the success of the enterprise has been increasing over the past two years, which makes the male managers of some neighboring farms nervous. And here's why: Nestanovichi-Agro OJSC is headed by a woman. Anastasia Kuzmina is not a newcomer to the agricultural industry; before coming here, her track record already included experience in successful management in agriculture. Anastasia Georgievna proves with her actions that the work of the team largely depends on the correctness of the decisions made.

Upward movement

On the day of our arrival, the farm manager was inspecting the construction of a new dairy farm. Deputy Director of Nestanovichi-Agro OJSC Dmitry Sidor told the newspaper about the pace of its construction and the prospects for the dairy industry of the enterprise.

We met with Dmitry Vladimirovich at the existing MTK "Nestanovichi". The day's milking was just finishing there, and a milk tanker of the Borisov branch of the Slutsk cheese-making plant was already parked at the gate.

Receive, country, milk from Nestanovichi-Agro OJSC!

– Just two years ago, our agricultural enterprise, created on the basis of four unpromising ones, milked up to 7 kg per day per cow, today – 18 kg per day. Today we deliver an average of 16.5 tons of milk per day. Gross milk production for 10 months of 2023 amounted to 130% of the level of 2022 - the second year we are adding, - Dmitry Vladimirovich draws attention and clarifies: - In order to increase the volume of milk production and its quality, we are constantly working with the herd, with its health.

OJSC "Nestanovichi-Agro" has about 3,070 heads of cattle , of which 1,093 are dairy herds. The livestock sector of the farm is represented by a modern multi-farm complex (with two barns, a milking unit) and a small farm with linear milking. That's it for now. The farm is already preparing livestock for the MTC under construction, which it plans to populate with its heifers in 2024. In addition, a new dispensary building for calves has already been built at the existing dairy complex.

For the winter - with food!

The second most important branch of the economy is crop production, the main task of which is to create a reliable feed base for the raised cattle population , as well as to fulfill government orders. This year everything has been completed completely.

By the way, farmers produce compound feed themselves; they buy only a few ready-made ones.

“We buy only starter feed for small calves, and prepare it ourselves for milking and adult young animals,” clarifies Dmitry Sidor.

Considering the drought, which was particularly severe in the capital region, we asked Dmitry Sidor to assess the realities and prospects for the wintering of cattle that has begun.

– We prepared thoroughly for the winter, as well as for every next one... Everything is going according to plan - without incident. At the same time, we admit that the current agricultural year was, of course, difficult. But they did a good job with the preparations: the herd is 100% provided with feed! - Dmitry Vladimirovich noted and dwelled in more detail on the main thing: - Both haylage and silage have been prepared. The farm received a good harvest of corn grain (118 c/ha) and placed 450 tons of flattened grain in polymer sleeves, and also created reliable reserves of dried grain of this crop.

I was also pleased with the rapeseed. This year its yield was 31–32 c/ha. The company sold the rapeseed seeds, and took the oilseed cake back from the processor as needed.

And although the drought did not make it possible to implement all plans for grain, there was enough feed grain for our own needs - there is no need for purchases! We are provided with grain – enough until the new harvest – by 100%,” emphasized Dmitry Sidor and added: “In addition, some of the “carry-over” feed, previously harvested, remains from last year.

We have also prepared plenty of corn silage! There is also plenty of grass feed, although the first two mowings let us down a little...

“In order to always have a good harvest of herbs, we replant the fields annually, and after two or three years we renew the fields under the grasses - in their place we plant other crops - rapeseed or grains,” the interlocutor reveals the secrets of agricultural technologies.

OJSC "Nestanovichi-Agro" focuses on winter grains: less spring grains are sown. Now there are more than 2 thousand hectares under winter grains, 500 hectares under winter rapeseed. Other fields are also prepared for spring sowing. Fertilizers are being purchased.

Recently, the company has significantly updated its machine and tractor fleet. A 20-ton MAZ, a forage harvester, a cultivator, a seeder, and a sprayer were purchased. All equipment is equipped with GPS navigators. One of the tractors, “tailored” for sowing and cultivating fields, is equipped with a precision farming system. Such approaches and technologies allow the farm to optimize the costs of seeds, plant protection products and, importantly, increase field productivity. Scientific approaches in agriculture always give good results!

They go to work with their families

At Nestanovichi-Agro OJSC, where 130 people work, everyone is valued for their contribution to the common cause. It must be said that with the arrival of a new manager, the team of specialists on the farm was updated, including the main ones - an agronomist, an engineer, a veterinarian , an accountant, and an economist. At MTK "Nestanovichi", where at the time of Anastasia Georgievna's arrival there was not a single veterinarian, two young veterinary assistant specialists appeared.

The director of Nestanovichi-agro OJSC positively evaluates the work of his team: both those who have been working here for a long time and those who have come here in the last two years.

– The team operates on a team principle, but responsibility is individual, so everyone is responsible for completing the tasks assigned to them, and therefore everyone works conscientiously! – emphasizes director Anastasia Kuzmina.

By the way, families come to work at this enterprise. Here we met the calf breeder Oksana Karpova and her son, livestock breeder Alexey. As Oksana Ivanovna said, her daughters, Eva and Anastasia, also work on the farm. If Oksana and Alexey Karpov had a moment to talk about the hopes of the family, which they, of course, associate with OJSC Nestanovichi-Agro, then livestock breeder Svetlana Chereyskaya was under time pressure. One of the cows has just given birth to a bull, which will soon be taken away from its mother, dried under lamps and fed with colostrum. Grow healthy, baby!

On the day of our arrival, students from the Ilyansky Agrarian College were practicing at the complex. Future veterinary assistants looked closely at how the care of the herd, monitoring its health, prevention and treatment of animals were organized at the MTC. The girls already enjoyed the first days of practice. They do not exclude the possibility of returning to the farm as already certified specialists. After all, vacancies will soon appear at Nestanovichi-Agro: in 2024, a new modern MTK will be launched here.
