Productivity and quality. A new dairy farm was put into operation in the Voronovsky district

December 20, Voronovsky district. In the Voronovsky district, two cowsheds for 777 milking cows and a milking unit building at the Soltanishki MTF of the Girki Municipal Unitary Enterprise were put into operation, BELTA reports.

“This is one of the facilities that are currently being reconstructed as part of the fulfillment of the order of the HEAD of state. On the one hand, this order is to transfer as much as possible all cattle from ordinary, old farms to modern complexes, which allows the introduction of new MILK production technologies and requires less labor. And the main thing is that it creates more comfortable working conditions for the staff, thiscaring for people, as well as getting greater returns, creating more comfortable living conditions for animals,” said Vladimir Karanik, Chairman of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee.

The head of the region added: “Rationality has always been put at the forefront. We must count every penny, every ruble . And here is the approach in the Grodno region: we take linear farms, where there are good personnel, a feed procurement system has been established, and we simply build two such barns nearby with milking and dairy unit, we transfer the milking herd there, we reconstruct the old farm and use it to maintain the so-called train. This allows, firstly, to solve the tasks more quickly, and secondly, to solve them with greater economic efficiency at different stages of construction and. There are more than 30 livestock breeding facilities in the Grodno region, and we plan to maintain this pace next year in order to fulfill the order of the head of state and transfer all cattle to modern dairy complexes."

According to the head of the KSUP "Girki" Tadeusz Muszynski, the construction period took almost a year. The farm is designed as a closed enterprise. The project provides for the mechanization of the processes of distributing feed, milking cows, and watering animals.

“According to our calculations, only with the introduction of this complex we will receive about Br6 million in additional profit due to the quantity and quality of milk next year. This is an impressive figure for our farm. Next year we will complete the configuration of this complex and will already reach 100% The milk yield per cow today is 22 liters, and the average milk yield for all complexes (we have two more) is 25.5 liters. This year we plan to reach a milk yield of 8.2 thousand kg and everything is going well for this. Next year there will be more - 8.5-9 thousand kg of milk per cow,” said Tadeusz Muszynski.
