
The region is among the top ten leaders in the Central Federal District in terms of livestock production across all farm categories.
According to preliminary data from Rosstat, the agricultural production index in Ivanovo Oblast in 2025 was 103.3% of the previous year, including 106.5% in crop production and 101.5% in livestock. Agricultural enterprises and farms are demonstrating good growth rates, with production volumes expected to increase by 4.3% year-on-year by the end of 2025.
Positive trends in meat production continue. By the end of 2025, livestock and poultry production across all farm categories amounted to 54,600 tonnes.
Dairy farming is showing good results, with gross milk production amounting to 171,200 tonnes. Milk productivity per cow in agricultural organizations increased to 7,720 kg/head.
The leaders in terms of milk production volumes by the end of 2025 in the region are the Dzerzhinsky Breeding Farm in the Gavrilovo-Posadsky District (with a gross milk yield of 30.9 thousand tons and a productivity of 11,581 kg/head), the Leninsky Put Breeding Farm in the Puchezhsky District (8.6 thousand tons with a milk yield of 7,778 kg/head), the Paninskoye SPK in the Savinsky District (7.2 thousand tons and 10,256 kg/head, respectively), the Rassvet SPK in the Gavrilovo-Posadsky District (6.2 thousand tons and 8,699 kg/head) and the Garskoye SPK in the Ilyinsky District (5.7 thousand tons and 9,593 kg/head).
In poultry farming, egg production also continues to grow due to the increase in the breeding stock of highly productive poultry crosses. Local poultry farms produced 467.3 million eggs, 7.6% more than in 2024 , with each hen producing an average of 329 eggs.
Despite challenging weather conditions , farmers in the Ivanovo region produced a good grain harvest in 2025 – 145.4 thousand tons (+15.3% compared to 2024). The leaders in grain harvest were the Rodina Plant Growing Farm (Gavrilovo-Posad District) with 16.6 thousand tons, the Dzerzhinsky Breeding Farm with 11.3 thousand tons, and Grainrus Agro (Kineshemsky District) with 7.9 thousand tons.
Oilseed production doubled compared to 2024: 16.6 thousand tons of oilseeds were obtained, with rapeseed accounting for 95% of the harvest . The leaders in rapeseed harvesting were: Grainrus Agro - 11.2 thousand tons, Dzerzhinsky Breeding Plant - 1.6 thousand tons, Sergei Nagaev’s peasant farm (Palekhsky District) - 1.1 thousand tons, Privolzhskaya Niva - 0.7 thousand tons, and Ivan Kotomin’s peasant farm (Shuisky District) - 0.6 thousand tons.
Potato harvests in 2025 increased by 7.4%, totaling 63,700 tons. The top potato harvesters in the Ivanovo region were the Niva farm (Teikovsky District) with 5,200 tons, the Orion farm (Teikovsky District) with 3,300 tons, and the Sergey Volkov peasant farm (Kineshemsky District) with 2,200 tons.
