From May 2025, Mavin will launch an innovative group housing model for sows at its farm in Hng Yen province, which will house 500 sows. This approach promotes natural pig behavior and improves their health .

The farm uses modern technology such as electronic ear tags to identify animals, allowing for accurate monitoring of their condition. An automated feeding system reduces stress in pigs and provides them with essential nutrients. Free-standing farrowing stalls promote natural care of the offspring and increase lactation.

The implementation of these solutions meets international animal welfare standards, which is important for successful entry into export markets. Mavin Group is actively moving towards expanding its export opportunities, taking into account the growing consumer interest in ethical and responsible products. This highlights the importance of moving towards humane technologies in pig farming, which makes Vietnamese pork more competitive in the international arena.
