The EU again failed to agree on sanctions against Russia Politics

On February 24, other Western countries announced plans to introduce new sanctions against Russia. US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland said that Washington's restrictions will affect a number of banks seen in circumventing Western sanctions.

BLOOMBERG and The Wall Street Journal, citing sources, indicated that the restrictions would also affect 200 Russian individuals and legal entities, including those in the military-industrial industry. The EU also plans to impose sanctions, but the package was not agreed on on February 23. Russia considers restrictions against itself illegitimate.
