Tourists who arrive in the Krasnodar Territory in August without a vaccination certificate or a certificate of first injection and do not get vaccinated on the spot within three days may face a fine of 30,000 rubles, the regional administration said.

A fine may be imposed in accordance with Art. 20.6.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses - failure to comply with the rules of conduct in an emergency or the threat of its occurrence. This article was introduced into Russian law in April 2020 in connection with the introduction of restrictions due to covid-19 and the establishment of a high alert regime in the regions. Since the beginning of July, there have been restrictions on the settlement of tourists in the Krasnodar Territory, you can only check into hotels if you have a negative PCR test or a certificate of vaccination. On July 9, the authorities eased the conditions, allowing the settlement of those tourists who have not yet completed the vaccination course and have only received the first injection. From August 1, even with a negative PCR test, visitors must be vaccinated within three days of arrival.
