Novosibirsk police opened 17 cases of sale of fake COVID certificates

The police of the Novosibirsk region opened 17 criminal cases due to the sale of fake certificates of vaccination against CORONAVIRUS and certificates of PCR tests, said Andrey Kulkov, HEAD of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Novosibirsk region, RIA Novosti reports.

According to him, on October 24, residents of the region reported 89 cases of illegal issuance of vaccination certificates.

“According to 17 [reports], a decision was made to initiate a criminal case on the facts of illegal sale of documents on vaccination against covid-19 and PCR tests,” Kulkov said at an operational meeting in the regional government.

The police also drew up 318 protocols on administrative offenses as a result of sanitary and epidemiological raids, Kulkov said. On October 23-24, law enforcement officials drew up 67 more protocol documents on violations in the shopping centers Siberian Mall, Aura, Royal Park and Gallery Novosibirsk.
