
₽303 billion is the total amount of non-cash payments in the Orel region as of October 1, 2021. This is 27% more than in the same period of 2020, according to the regional branch of the Bank of RUSSIA. From January to September 2021, residents of the region made 218 million transactions using bank cards, which is almost three times more than a year earlier. Part of non-cash payments are online purchases. On average, Oryol residents spend 2,140 rubles to pay for one purchase on the Internet. At the same time, the total average bill, which is calculated taking into account all the purchases made, is almost two times less - 1120 rubles. There were 1.2 million payment cards at the disposal of the inhabitants of the region.
₽221 million will be spent in the Belgorod region on the digitalization of the water supply system. The Russian Foundation for the Development of Information Technologies will provide a grant to the region. The money will be used to equip water supply networks with modern water meters and pressure sensors. This will minimize losses, reduce the number of emergencies and generally improve the efficiency and quality of the water supply system in the region. The project is designed for 2022-2024.
Almost ₽140 million will be received by the Tambov region to support covid hospitals from the federal center. Additional funds will be allocated for the repair and replacement of equipment used in the treatment of patients with covid-19 , the purchase of consumables, as well as personal protective equipment for medical staff.
1,677 thousand hectares will be sown area for harvest-2022 in the Kursk region. Next year, work will also continue to increase the production of basic crops. The gross grain harvest in the region is planned to be increased to 5-5.2 million tons. This year Kursk farmers produced 4.8 million tons of grain with an average yield of 48 centners per hectare. 3.6 million tons of SUGAR beets were harvested with an average yield of about 400 centners per hectare. The gross harvest of oilseeds amounted to 1 million tons, including 506 thousand tons of soybeans, 372 thousand tons of sunflower, 97 thousand tons of rapeseed.
On December 30, 2021, Sergey Chestikin, Deputy Prime Minister of the Voronezh Region, will leave his post. The corresponding decree was signed by Governor Alexander Gusev. The official is resigning due to the early termination of his powers and on his own initiative, the government of the region noted. Sergey Chestikin has held this position since 2018. Prior to that, he headed the administration of the Novovoronezh urban district.
