President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko spoke about the main idea of the next event in a similar format - we are talking about the conditions of keeping
cattle ,
BELTA reports.
"We will not move away from this," the Belarusian leader emphasized.
Alexander Lukashenko recalled that he had previously proposed erecting a cow in Belarus as a sign of the merits of this animal in the lives of people, especially during the Great Patriotic War. "People went into the forests and took cattle with them to survive.
The cow feeds the people today too.
It is not only
milk , but also
meat ," the
head of state said. "If we want to be healthy, we must breathe normal air and eat normal food, based on this,
the cow , figuratively speaking, should stand in the palace."The President noted that in recent years they have figured out the path to development in animal husbandry. They decided that livestock farms need to be transformed into livestock dairy complexes (MDC), where technologies are generally observed throughout the entire chain.
"The pressure in this regard will be very serious. I decided to invite you, show you, tell you. Here are specialists who can both criticize and express their position. For you, for journalists, a short hour-long lesson. So that you understand what kind of technology this is, in what kind of "palace" cows should be kept," Alexander Lukashenko said about the idea of the event.
This is also important in the run-up to two large meetings on the safety of young cattle and the work of the agro-industrial complex in the Vitebsk region, where many problems have accumulated.
The President emphasized that producing high-quality
milk is very profitable. From it, a whole range of various products can then be produced, which are in high demand abroad.
"Today you have everything you need to organize the production and processing process. Jokes aside. I repeat once again: if you don't want to sit in the trenches, breed lice in the mud, let's work," the head of state emphasized. "Compliance with technology and military discipline. You have all the rights. If we don't want war, then we need to work correctly. We need to receive products and sell them. We need to approach this work honestly."
Speaking about the seminar-meeting, Alexander Lukashenko said that he asked the former head of the Minsk region, and now Prime Minister Alexander Turchin and other specialists to determine a typical complex, using which the existing advanced experience can be presented as an example. The MTC "Selishche-2" in the agro-industrial complex "Dzerzhinsky" even meets these criteria with a margin. "This is the next century," the President stated. Nevertheless, everything here, although very well done, was done economically. Many construction works were carried out in a businesslike manner. "What's so difficult about that? If you're a good manager, you're obliged to have your own construction team," the Belarusian leader noted.
This is one of the good examples that should be followed in other organizations that haven't done this yet. Overall, there are no more than a third of agricultural enterprises in the country that need close attention. The rest are either working well or at a high level.
"We need to adapt (the experience of leading farms - BELTA note), somewhere modernizing old farms, turning them into dairy farms. We need modern cattle breeding. And sell extra-grade milk. This is good
money today and milk is profitable today," the Belarusian leader sets the task.
He drew attention to what is happening in the world - wars and conflicts. Making money on them is not Belarus' policy, but even without this
there is foodwill always be in demand in the world, the President is sure: "People need to be fed even without wars. This means that the demand for
food and clothing (and clothing is also made from the land) will only increase. Therefore, we must definitely follow this path - create MTC and solve these problems."
Alexander Lukashenko paid special attention to the conditions of keeping cattle, and especially young animals, in order to prevent death, which is still a problem for many farms. And this requires not only good premises, but also high-quality feed. "No young animals - no milk, no
meat," the Belarusian leader stated.
The head of state recalled two instructions that were given earlier - to make domestic presses for harvesting haylage and milking robots that would be no worse in quality than foreign ones.
"The press must be made. This is a matter of life and death," the head of state demands. He emphasized that the quality of equipment affects the quality of feed, and this is
the health of livestock.
As for milking robots, Alexander Lukashenko sees this as a prospect, including taking into account the shortage of personnel in rural areas. But it is also a question of production efficiency.
Among the participants of the seminar-meeting are the chairmen of regional executive committees and their first deputies, authorized representatives of the head of state in the regions, presidential aides - inspectors in the regions.
An event in a similar format of a visiting seminar on agriculture with the participation of the head of state was also held in February of this year. It was organized in the Smolevichi district of the Minsk region on the basis of the agricultural enterprise "Shipyany-ASK". At that time, various practical aspects of feeding and keeping cattle in the winter-stall period, preparation of the main types of agricultural machinery for spring field work, new varieties of agricultural crops and regulations for their cultivation were discussed.
