In the Tula region, 20 agro-investment projects worth almost 80 million rubles have been developed

"To date, about 20 investment projects in the agricultural sector have been developed in the region for a total of about 80 billion rubles. Thus, in the Plavsk District, as well as in the entire region, the harvesting campaign continues today. To date, more than 30 thousand tons of grain have already been threshed here.

"More than 32 thousand tons of grain have been threshed, including 21 thousand tons of winter wheat, more than 2.5 thousand tons of barley, almost 10 thousand tons of peas," said the head of the Plavsk District administration Andrey Garifzyanov.

Let us recall that last year the region harvested 2.6 million tons of grain and legumes. As a result, the Tula Region took third place in the Central Federal District and seventh place in Russia in rapeseed harvesting, second place in the country in potato harvesting. Also last year, the region's enterprises produced more than 200 thousand tons of livestock and poultry, almost 860 million eggs and 205 thousand tons of milk.
