67-year-old Brest resident contacted the Drogichin District Department of Internal Affairs. She reported that her 65-year-old husband had set the house on fire. Police arrived at the scene and reconstructed the incident.

ALCOHOL and went for a walk in the village. Upon returning home, his wife encountered her drunk husband and tried to persuade him to go on vacation, but he didn't like this. He started arguing. Then he went into the shed, grabbed a canister of gasoline, doused the threshold of the house, and set it on fire," the department reported.
The frightened woman ran to a neighbor's house and called
the Ministry of Emergency Situations .
The fire partially damaged the house.
