In Belarus, 5.4 thousand apartments were gasified with natural gas in the first half of 2025

In January-June, the organizations of the Beltopgaz State Production Association ensured uninterrupted and trouble-free supplies of natural and liquefied gas, peat products in the required volumes to consumers. This was announced by the DIRECTOR General of the production association Valery Kovalev during a meeting of the Beltopgaz Council, BELTA reports with reference to the press service of the Beltopgaz State Production Association.

"In the first half of 2025, the organizations of the Beltopgaz association ensured uninterrupted and trouble-free supplies of natural and liquefied gas, peat products in the required volumes to consumers. In general, the association has fulfilled all target and key performance indicators," Kovalev noted.

In January-June, about 8.8 billion cubic meters of gas were delivered through the gas distribution system of the association. 364.2 km of gas pipelines were commissioned, 5.4 thousand apartments were gasified with natural gas. Gasification has been provided to 7 rural settlements, including 2 agro-towns. A comprehensive instrumental survey of more than 4 thousand km of gas pipelines has been conducted.

As of July 1, peat industry organizations have mined 520 thousand tons of peat, produced more than 340 thousand tons of fuel briquettes and dried peat, as well as about 89 thousand tons of non-fuel peat products.

According to the results of work for the first half of 2025, the growth rate of gross output in comparable prices in agricultural branches of gas supply organizations amounted to 108.9%. The number of cattle amounted to 35.1 thousand heads, which is 6.3% more than in the same period in 2024. MILK sales increased by 11.6% (or 4.7 thousand tons).
