Increasing insurance coverage in the Russian agro-industrial complex until 2030

First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Russia, Elena Fastova, emphasized the goal of increasing the share of insured cropland to 30% by 2030. Over the past five years, this figure has grown from less than 2% to almost 20%. Kornei Bizhdov, President of the National Union of Agricultural Insurers, reported that 15.3 million hectares of crops are insured, with a primary focus on grain crops. Conference participants emphasized the importance of insurance in the face of increasing climate volatility and discussed the need to improve the quality of service in this area.
