On June 15, on the sidelines of the 26th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), Bashkortostan HEAD Radiy Khabirov met with Cherkizovo Group CEO Sergey Mikhailov. The discussion focused on the development of the company's poultry farms in the republic.
As a reminder, in December 2022, Cherkizovo Group acquired several poultry and crop production assets of the Russkoye Zerno Ufa group of companies. These include Bashkirskoye Zerno, Ufimsky Khleboproductov Plant, and Turbasly Broilers.
Cherkizovo plans to modernize its poultry farms in the republic as part of an investment project. Specifically, the Yubileinaya poultry farm in the Chishminsky District and the Ufimskaya poultry farm
will be reconstructed over the next two years. "Starting July 1, an investment protection and incentive program will be launched in Bashkortostan. "We've decided to take a de-bureaucratic approach. We've significantly reduced the list of documents investors must provide and simplified everything related to land leasing. We're creating the most favorable conditions for investors," said Radiy Khabirov.
Sergey Mikhailov noted that Cherkizovo Group is ready to discuss the project details at one of the Investment Hours as early as July of this year.
"We will be reorganizing and reconstructing our facilities. In 2023, we plan to increase production from 65,000 to 100,000 tons of broiler MEAT in live weight per year, and subsequently, it will reach 120,000-160,000 tons. I'd like to thank you for your support of our investment project, particularly in the construction of biological treatment facilities," said Sergey Mikhailov.
