Pork with ASF virus from Gubkin arrived in Chuvashia through Saratov

On October 18, a message was published on quarantine for African swine fever in the regional center of Kozlovka. Order No. 551-rg dated October 16, 2021 on restrictive measures for ASF was signed by the HEAD of the republic Oleg Nikolaev.
The State Veterinary Service found MEAT products with the genetic material of the ASF virus in the warehouse and in the production workshops of Yuldash Production Company LLC. The results of the initial study were confirmed by specialists from the Federal Center for Animal HEALTH (FGBU ARRIAH) in Vladimir.
The supplier of infected meat is SarProdTrade LLC, Saratov, the pork producer is APK AgroFood LLC (Gubkin, Belgorod Region). A set of measures to eliminate the outbreak will be deployed at three infected facilities.
