The cost of Choice MEAT in the US market fell by $1.57 in a week, the price of Select beef fell by $1.43. Choice/Select price leverage dropped to $27.25.
U.S. livestock futures edged lower on Friday after a significant decline in grain and livestock markets, which analysts attribute to extended fund liquidations and technical selling from recent highs.
