Meat prices will remain stable this year, the Ministry of Agriculture believes. According to the ministry, this will be facilitated by the saturation of the domestic market, together with growing competition. Director General of the National Union of Pig Breeders (NSS) Yuri Kovalev said that the prices for pork and beef are now really quite stable, and price fluctuations are associated with seasonal factors. Konstantin Korneev, Executive Director of Rincon Management, confirmed that so far there are no prerequisites for significant fluctuations in meat prices.
