Growth in prices for cucumbers in Russia from October 12 to 18 accelerated sharply compared to the previous week, for tomatoes - almost did not change, for potatoes - continued to slow down, and cabbage fell in price.

According to the statistical office, in general, prices for fruits and vegetables increased by an average of 2.3% during the reporting period, while over the previous period, from October 5 to October 11, they increased by an average of 1.8%.

In particular, from October 12 to October 18, the price of potatoes rose by 3.62% (for the previous reporting period - by 4.35%), fresh cucumbers - by 14.26% (a week earlier - by 10.85%), tomatoes - by 9.92% (previously 9.66%).

Fresh white cabbage fell in price by 0.05% (last week its price rose by 0.17%). In turn, onions fell in price by 0.9% (a week earlier - by 0.31%), carrots - by 0.35% (last week - by 0.98%), apples - by 1.2% (up to this by 1.38%).

Since the beginning of the year by October 18, the price of potatoes in Russia has risen by 43.95%, cabbage - by 86.4%, onions - by 19.98%, carrots - by 30.9%. Since the beginning of the year, cucumbers have fallen in price by 29.26%, tomatoes - by 8.51%, apples - by 3.27%.

From October 12 to October 18, pasteurized and sterilized milk went up in price in Russia  - by 0.7% and 0.6%; margarine and black tea - by 0.5%; pork, sausages, sausages, butter, sour cream, fatty cottage cheese and rennet cheeses - by 0.4%; cookies - by 0.3%; boiled sausages and vodka - by 0.2%; beef and frozen fish — by 0.1%. In turn, mutton, half-smoked and boiled-smoked sausages and salt fell in price by 0.1%.

SUGAR, BUCKWHEAT, EGGS

The rise in prices for sugar and buckwheat in Russia from October 12 to 18 accelerated compared to the previous week, the growth rate of prices for chicken meat and sunflower oil remained almost unchanged, and the appreciation of eggs slowed down, follows from Rosstat data.

Prices for chilled and frozen chickens increased by 1.5% on average across the country, including 0.1-2% in 58 regions and 2.1-5.8% in 16 regions. In five subjects, prices have not changed, in another six they have decreased by 0.1-0.8%. Over the previous week, from October 5 to October 11, the price of chicken meat rose by 1.52%, and from the beginning of the year to October 18, the price for it increased by 24.48%.

Eggs on average in Russia for the reporting period rose in price by 2.79% (from October 5 to October 11 - by 3.31%, and since the beginning of the year - by 1.95%). In 57 subjects, prices increased by 0.1-4%, in 24 regions - by 4.1-9.6%. “In the Magadan region and the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, prices have not changed. In the Republic of Crimea, prices for chicken eggs decreased by 1.9%, in the Vologda Oblast - by 0.9%," Rosstat points out.

Prices for granulated sugar on average in Russia increased by 0.81%, including in 68 regions of the country - by 0.1-2%, in six - by 2.1-4.2%. “In three subjects, prices have not changed. In eight regions, prices for granulated sugar decreased by 0.1-0.9%," the statistical office reports. From October 5 to October 11, sugar prices rose by 0.46%, and from the beginning of the year to October 18, they added 5.86%.

Sunflower oil became more expensive by 0.11%, while a week earlier the price increase was 0.12%. In 37 subjects of the Russian Federation, it increased in value by 0.1-4.1%, in 26 subjects the prices did not change, in 22 subjects they decreased by 0.1-1%. From the beginning of the year to October 18, sunflower oil has risen in price by 6.12%.

Buckwheat from October 12 to 18 increased in price by 1.03%, while in the previous period the growth was 0.88%, and since the beginning of the year prices have risen by 14.07%. In the reporting week, wheat flour rose in price by 0.36% (for the previous period - by 0.61%, growth since the beginning of the year - by 6.04%), black bread - by 0.28% (for the previous period - by 0, 42%, since the beginning of the year - by 5.62%), pasta - by 0.41% (after an increase of 0.38%, since the beginning of the year, prices increased by 7.88%).

Export of agricultural products from the Russian Federation from the beginning of the year to October 10 increased by 19.9% 

Vermicelli increased in price by 0.53% (for the previous period - an increase of 0.16%, growth since the beginning of the year - 7.65%). Prices for white bread rose by 0.15% (a week earlier - by 0.52%, growth since the beginning of the year - by 5.54%). Prices for rice increased by 0.36% (a week earlier - by 0.38%, since the beginning of the year - increased by 3.55%), for millet - decreased by 0.22% (for the previous period - also decreased by 0, 22%, since the beginning of the year - by 3.6%).
