Bolivia to break meat export record in 2025

Most exports are destined for the Asian market, particularly China , which accounts for 74% of export markets, as well as countries such as Russia , Peru, Ecuador, and Vietnam . Efforts are underway in these countries to enter the Egyptian market.

In 2025 , meat exports were restricted by the previous government from February 5 to June 4, making August the month with the highest export volume, reaching US $35.8 million .

Bolivia exported 42,263 tons of meat by weight. Our country produces approximately 350,000 tons of this product annually, with approximately 290,000 tons consumed domestically, primarily in the states of Santa Cruz and Beni.
