Prospects of genetics in animal husbandry: how SEMEX is changing the market in Russia

Founded in 1974 in CANADA, SEMEX is an alliance of three major breeding cooperatives: Ontario, Western and Eastern Breeders. The farmers' decision to create their own world-class breeding center allowed the company to become an international brand, which today exports its products to more than 80 countries.

SEMEX owns the world's largest bank of breeding material and actively uses genomic selection.
